The Coast-Canberra-Coast Daily Shuttle:

Why do your pick up and drop off times vary?

It’s because we offer a custom service. That is, unlike other bus services, we do not have fixed stops on the coast. If your pick up is in Ulladulla, we go to Ulladulla. If no one has booked for Ulladulla on any day, we don’t go to Ulladulla. That said, the booking pages have some guidelines for pick up and drop off times, and we tend to stick pretty close to that.

Where are the coastal pick up areas?

Anywhere within Milton to the north and Tuross to the south. This is a door-to-door service.

Where are the ACT pick up areas?

Queanbeyan, Canberra airport, Jolimont Centre and Woden Interchange and selected medical centres (for medical appointments) in the ACT or Queanbeyan. For a small extra fee, we will pick-up and drop-off at any address in the ACT or Queanbeyan.

How do I book?

How do I pay?

Booking and paying online is preferred. We use secure Paypal processing and we never see or retain payment information.

Do you stop at Nelligen, Braidwood and other areas along the way?

If required, yes. Just book where you want to be picked up and dropped off. If it is within Milton to Tuross on the coast or anywhere in the ACT and Queanbeyan, we will take you.

What time do you head to Canberra?

Rx1 Coast the Canberra leaves Batemans at 07.00am. If you are being picked up from elsewhere, the pick-up time is before this.

What time do you leave from the Canberra for the coast?

Rx2 Canberra to Coast leaves Woden around 4:00pm for Batemans at 6:50pm.

As we offer a custom pick-up and drop-off service, the exact times will always depend on the number of passengers. Custom pick-ups are generally before Woden departure and the driver calls you just after 2:30pm with details.

Can I book only one way?

Yes.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

Rx1/2 Shuttle Cancellations: We require 24 hours’ notice unless otherwise discussed. All contact must be confirmed for validation. Late cancellation refunds are at the company’s discretion.

Refunds can only be made back to the original card with which a booking was paid. Any fees we incur are passed on  to the customer. These are gernally around 1-2%.

Concession Information

For travel dates 15th May 2020 and after, we are not able to offer concession fares. We will continue to negotiate with Transport for NSW on behalf of all passengers for the reintroduction of concession fares. We apologise for the inconvenience.

How about bulky items such as prams, surfboards and my aunt’s kitchen sink?

Yes we can transport many things. Some additional luggage requires a small additional payment. It depends on the item. We also ask that you book in advance, so we know if we need to hook up a trailer.

What about wheelchair access?

We have several wheelchair accessible buses available. For wheelchair bookings, it is essential to book at least a day in advance, so we can allocate the correct bus for day.

Tour Questions:

Can I book a single room, not twin share?

Yes, there is generally an additional, but generally small, fee for this.

May I pay by bank transfer?

Certainly. Just call the office for details.

I’d like to book a pick-up from my home. What time is pick-up?

On the booking pages, scroll down to see estimated times. The exact times can vary based on the number and location of passengers on the day, but this list is pretty close.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, small pets are fine. It’s best to give us a call to discuss your needs.

Can you transport unaccompanied minors?

Yes we can do that.

What about wheelchairs, surfboards, prams and all my shopping?
