Welcome back to the 1970’s!
Award-winning entertainer Stephen Fisher-King has created an exciting new show that will take you back to when Coolabah was cool, and cats were in the cradle while the good ol’ boys were drinking whiskey and rye. The show includes a six piece band including Jo Elms and Chris Connolly, whose guitar riffs will leave you breathless. The 70’s Unplugged is a collection of the greatest hits from the coolest decade of our lives and includes songs from America, Sonny & Cher, Don McLean, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Simon and Garfunkle, Elton John and more!
The show features a fantastic multi-media presentation documenting the culture, news, fun, fashion and even the food of the years when stubbies and flares were cool, and nothing could save the Governor General!
He was classically trained as a baritone at the Canberra School of Music, but always preferred the fun of musical theatre. Stephen has had lead roles in Cats, Evita, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Hello Dolly and The Rocky Horror Show.
“In our show we have music from America, The Eagles, John Denver and Linda Ronstadt,” says Stephen. “We’ve included the best-loved songs so you’ll be able to sing along – then probably sing the whole way home in the car as well!”
